Happy to share that with Neha’s support I got into multiple schools including HBS! I had spoken to multiple Consultants in India and abroad and realised that Neha would be my best at shooting my HBS shot and I’m so grateful for deciding to work with her. If you’re applying to Harvard or other top schools look no further than Neha.
Every applicant to these schools needs to stand out and find their core themes/USP. Neha is adept at asking probing questions and helped me uncover the deepest most visceral emotions that drive me! Best part was that even though I worked with her on only 3 schools, I could leverage these insights for multiple other schools and she was ready to help me prep for my interviews from these other schools too! I interviewed with four M7 schools and found HBS interview to be a completely different beast altogether.
I would not have been able to have such an incredible HBS interview experience without Neha’s support. She helped me go deep into each and every resume bullet point and bring to life these stories by sharing more context, actions and impact in a easily understandable and compelling manner. For my HBS interview prep she took out an extraordinary amount of time (even when she was on vacation!) to ensure that I’m fully prepared and confident. Her intense HBS interview preparation support helped me breeze through all sorts of in-depth questions asked in my HBS interview and helped me have extremely wonderful interviews with other schools as well. Immensely grateful to Neha for all her support and cannot recommend her enough to other HBS/T10 aspirants!

Working with Neha was an absolute pleasure! Her expertise and dedication truly set her apart. From our initial conversations to the final application submissions, she guided me through every step of the process with unparalleled support and insight. She demonstrated a deep understanding of the nuances of each program I was applying to and provided tailored advice that maximized my chances of success. Her attention to detail was exceptional.
What I appreciated most was Neha’s genuine investment in my success. She took the time to understand my unique background, aspirations, and strengths, crafting a compelling narrative that truly showcased my potential to admissions committees. She went beyond her role as an advisor to provide holistic mentorship, encouraging and counseling me every step of the way.
I wholeheartedly recommend Neha to anyone seeking support in their admissions journey. Her commitment to excellence and personalized approach make her a standout choice in the field. Thank you, Neha, for your invaluable assistance and unwavering support!

Neha is simply amazing. I had first reached out to her a few years back for a full time MBA but had then dropped the idea in lieu of a great work opportunity coming up. And then a few years later when I thought of going for an Executive Education program I reached out to her. And this was at the end of December! She being a true and genuine mentor helped me understand and navigate what I wanted out of the program and suggested I look for an Executive MBA instead. And that suggestion couldn’t have gotten any better. With just 3 weeks left for my 1st deadline, which was also my premier choice program, we started the process. Neha was extremely mindful of the deadlines, and made me incredibly comfortable as I was pretty anxious with such short time on our hand. The best part is you can reach out to her anytime and that approachability and personal touch makes her a no brainer for me. She does not think about the number of sessions or edits that have been done on the application materials. She’s in touch with you until you’re comfortable and convinced to submit your application. She helps you in every way you need to arrive at the right program for you, even putting you in touch with the admissions team and right alums for advice apart from working on essays, recommendations, CV, and interviews. She provides great insights into the culture, methodology, and ideology of different schools which help you in making the right decision for yourself as well as in your applications. Neha amazed me again when she said we need to rewrite and make major edits for Harvard essays as Covid happened, whereas I was comfortable keeping the earlier essays (from just before Covid) to build upon. I got into all the programs we applied to- Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, London Business School, and Chicago Booth. I cannot thank her enough. Best wishes for Neha, always!

Neha has been an amazing mentor through the application process for me-no less at a time when she was expecting a baby herself. She took the time out to repeatedly edit my essays, mentor me, be patient with me even when I was stubborn or wrong-and never refrained from speaking the truth. I have had a relatively long and very successful career in Private Equity, but she helped me go back to basics and really view my experiences in the right context-separating false pride from true achievements and helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses so I could begin to work on both. Her resilience comes from the way she bounced back a mere month after delivering her baby to help me with my Columbia interviews. Always professional and kind-her ideas, thoughts and inspiration made all the difference. I am a different person now than when I started with Seven Hats. And I owe it all to her unique philosophy and genuine passion for mentoring.

The MBA application process seemed particularly daunting to me because of my non-traditional political background. However, I was able to identify the programs that would benefit me most and gain admission into Columbia Business School thanks to the support and expert help I received from Neha Kamani and Seven Hats Consulting. Neha’s process required me to conduct a comprehensive analysis of my goals, background, skills and even childhood memories. As a result of the thorough and introspective tools provided by Seven Hats Consulting, I was able to craft an MBA application far more meaningful, passionate and comprehensive than I would have been able to otherwise. I received motivation and guidance every step of the way, from program selection to interview preparation.
Neha went the extra mile to connect me with alumni, organize coffee chats with admission committees and make sure that I was informed about the intricacies of every program that I applied to. I felt prepared at every step, and I am grateful for Neha’s hard work. The MBA is a transformative experience, and at Seven Hats this journey began with the application itself. I strongly recommend Neha Kamani’s Seven Hats Consulting to everyone who wants to maximize their potential and achieve their MBA dreams.

Neha is a firm, diligent and caring consultant. After switching to Neha from a previous, very expensive and famous global consultant, I realized how my previous consultant was lacking in professional and personal attributes. Because I was working full time and approaching applications deadline, Neha paid great attention to my situation and accordingly planned for the each item’s delivery. In addition, although she works with other clients, I always felt as if I am the only client because every time we had a call she remembered every bit of my profile and application that I myself had considered trivial or unimportant or just forgot. If that tells me anything, it tells that Neha is very passionate about helping a student, very dedicated and thorough in here assessments. Also I have to mention that her firm, structural and scientific method comes from her background; she is a Upenn and Columbia student !! Therefore if anyone is aspiring to attend top schools, you are definitely with someone who shares the same values!”

Working with Neha was a transformational experience for me. She is an exceptional guide. Our sessions together were open-ended explorations of my past experiences and future aspirations, aided by Neha’s patient, non-judgmental, and insightful prompts and interventions. Throughout our time working together, Neha made me feel comfortable enough to explore the topics that made me feel most vulnerable. She helped me articulate my own journey and goals in a manner that deeply resonated with me. After helping me know myself in a much deeper way, she provided timely, specific, and impactful guidance on how I can craft my applications and prepare for interviews to most effectively bring out who I was and what motivated me to university admissions committees. Neha helped me develop an application that was mine and mine alone and true to who I was, even if it may not have conformed to common wisdom about what was the most ‘strategic’ way to present one’s candidacy.
I am deeply grateful to have had the chance to work with Neha. She helped me embark on a journey of self-discovery that was and will remain its own reward, regardless of the admissions outcomes I achieved. I am so grateful for her support and plan to continue seeking her guidance for years to come!

Neha is a magician at understanding your story. I remember when I first met her she didn’t discuss much and asked me to not worry about my story at all. I was left wondering what did I just sign up for.
However, as we began to work together, I could see that she had a very independent view of my journey. As we progressed, Neha went through each and every experience of my life. At this point, I felt very inspired. Over the multiple calls we had, she asked me very pertinent questions, pushed me to think harder and helped me put things into perspective
Her nuanced questions on several such occasions uncovered aspects of my professional story in a very unique light. I think this happened because Neha is not just smart instinctively, but she makes special effort to keep up-breast of what is happening in the business and political world globally, and how events in the economy affect decisions of business and policy stakeholders. This makes the essays come out alive so that the admissions committee can relate to the essays, even if they come from a different culture or background. She has a hawk’s eye for picking out the nuances which make your story stand out among the hundreds of other applicants who apply. And this becomes evident as you begin to work with her on the first draft. Moreover, Neha constantly pushed me to be genuine in sharing my experiences, and her strong confidence in my journey propelled me to move forward. She will even scold you if you try to game the application too much, she knows it doesn’t cut ice with the admissions committee even if there is a ring of artificiality in the essays.
A huge intellectual horsepower is not the only skill Neha possesses. As my counselor through the application process, she was very sensitive and patient with me and assuaged all the anxieties I had in the application process. I had no experience in applying to schools outside of India. Naturally that meant a barrage of concerns and questions. Neha resolved everything very patiently. She went through multiple iterations of the initial draft, at times at ungodly hours of the night. She added value in every iteration we went through, every single time pushing the envelope only harder than before. Her ownership over the work is way more and well beyond the professionalism I expected, which motivated me whenever I felt stuck in my applications. I am a proud Seven Hatter for life!
Consultant
Harvard Business School (Background, ImpactVC)
Before choosing a consultant, I had done an elaborate exercise, probably speaking to all the consultants that exist. For every consultant I considered workingwith, I spoke to atleast 5 students who had worked with them – including those who didn’t get their desired outcome. Everyonewho had workedwith Neha in the past had the same thing to say about her – she is like no other – and now at the end of this journey I can truly appreciate why.
She starts the process by helping you understand yourself better, finally clawing deep inside you to create a storyline that will be so unique to you, and yet so real. I am not exaggerating one bit when I say she is an extremely intelligent individual, and having her on my side was truly game changer for me. Her selfless passion to help me succeed, even when it meant spending more time with me, was what made all the difference in my result.
The time she puts in upfront getting to know you, also makes her an insightful and empathetic interview coach. She put her heart and soul in helping me prepare for the final lap of the HBS interview – playing the role of a coach, friend, teacher and a true well- wisher – helping me overcome my insecurities, nervousness and sometimes even imperfect professional knowledge.
Finally, be ready for some strict feedback, which you betterlearn to appreciate, for your own good 🙂

Neha was the only consultant I spoke to before embarking on the process for MBA admissions. While I had heard positive reviews from close friends who had been accepted to HBS, my first conversation with her strongly reaffirmed my thoughts- her focus was not on force fitting frameworks or solely defining potential as per traditional schools of thought, it was on whether I will be able to introspect and navigate the process through an authentic lens.
The Seven hats approach of systematically first understanding my life story in depth was a key differentiator according to me. We spent hours discussing each milestone and moment of my life, small or big, and Neha would ask just the right questions to make me question my beliefs and get to the truth. She also made the process very comfortable for me, which helped me share my story, even parts that I would have shared only with friends, with her. Before we had even begun writing first drafts, I knew that we were on the same page and more importantly felt very confident about the direction we would take.
The process of writing, editing and re-editing is very gruesome for any candidate, but Neha was very supportive throughout and very patient with me. She motivated me in times when I was tired of the process and ensured we fine tuned it till we both were completely satisfied with the output. Had it been for me, I would have stopped at version 10, but Neha made sure we got to the best output till version 20! When we had to change my essay days before the deadline due to life updates, which needed to be incorporated, she was more patient and calm than I was and helped me re-piece everything together.
Neha also helped me prepare for my interviews for each school, even if I had not applied for those schools with her. She gave valuable inputs on how to approach each interview format and helped me calm my nerves before some of them! She was a true partner in the process for me, I always felt like she had my back.
I was able to independently apply to multiple other schools in a very efficient manner because of the Seven hats approach. I overall managed to get into Stanford GSB and also got admits from Kellogg and Chicago Booth. I would highly recommend her to future B-school aspirants and suggest getting on a call with her to see if you are ready to take the plunge with the Seven Hats approach.

Neha is NOT a typical admissions consultant. I can’t stress this enough to prospective B-School applicants. From the very first conversation, she has been an amazing mentor, thought partner, and most importantly a ‘motivator’ through my application journey. Applying to Business School is an extremely grueling process – involving many months of soul searching and personal reflection, countless drafts of essays writing and gearing up for those 30-60 minute interviews that pose the final hurdle to the gates of the dream MBA. Neha’s unique, personalized and structured approach helped me navigate through each step of the process with extreme confidence. With her guidance, I was able to not only articulate my experiences and aspirations in an effective manner but also apply to all my target schools without any last minute panic! Sharing my application journey with Neha has been a great experience and she has undoubtedly played a critical role in my successful admits. Thanks a ton Neha! I’m heading to my dream school this fall and I look forward to having you as a friend and sounding board even in the years to come.

“WE ARE GOING TO PUSH YOU OVER THE LINE THIS YEAR”
These were the words I heard from Neha when I shared with her my responses to her thoughtfully-crafted “Getting to know you” questionnaire. As a reapplicant to the top business schools in the world, her words became my ray of hope and yes, she indeed helped me realize my dream!
Neha is someone who knows what it takes to bring out the best version of yourself into the B-schools essays. She was immediately able to understand each and every piece of my journey, and while staying authentic to myself, helped me draft a story that would be impactful enough to get me into Harvard Business School ????
She helped me with every part of the application, from the resume to the small in-application questions and post interview reflection, always working with a smile and sharing edits at light-speed! When in doubt about the culture and opportunities available at a particular school, she even helped connect me with alumni and also organized coffee-chats with top B-schools.
My most favorite part of the process was the extensive interview training with Neha! We did multiple mocks, where she came up with new questions each time, challenging me to break outside of my comfort zone. I am still in awe of her immense knowledge of the business world, which I personally got to learn a lot from. She made sure I was well prepared for any curve-ball that came my way.
Neha will be the professional yet personal guide to you, who you can trust blindly in this roller-coaster ride. She will motivate you through the tough times, make sure you stay on schedule and be as invested in your application as if it were her own.
I’m glad I worked with her in this mad process!
